Hiroshima

Hiroshima is a town in the South of Honshu. As Nagasaki, it's unfortunately known for having suffered an atomic bomb at the end of World War II. A parc (Parc of Peace) and a museum (Museum of the Atomic Bomb) are dedicated to this tragedy. A building has been kept as it was to show people damages caused by the bomb.

Off Hiroshima, there is the isle of Miyajima, famous for its floating torii at high tide.
